Holy Moley !! that works out to be $3.43 in Aussie money per gallon - I was complaining that our unleaded petrol price had just gone up to $1.29 a litre... so thats about 0.98c American
- but 1 gallon = 3.785 litres so we would be paying $4.88 for a gallon. :-(
Its really horrible here in Hawaii...
I need a horse..it might turn out cheaper in the long run. ;0)

Yeah at the moment I don't have a car and am using public trans (BART), my bike or the good old feet. I often wish I had a car but then think about how lazy I'd be and the fact that I probably couldn't afford to really go anywhere with the gas so pricey. Here in the East Bay it is about 2.60 - 2.75 but over on the other side of the bay in San Francisco it's already 2.90 - 3.15. Hybrid cars are the way to go nowadays.
$2.80 here in Dallas...SUCKS and I'm moving from TX to Ore. in a few weeks going to cost me my left nut and arm for this.
Yeah gas prices are putting a real bummer on everything this year. It's fuckin' rediculous! I'm having to rethink my whole way of doing things.... shopping, crafting, entertainment costs, home utility bills... gonna have to cut back on so many shopping trips and stuff. I'll have to start planning my meals a week in advance so I can get all my groceries in one trip instead of going to the grocery store every day. I'll have to make it a specific point to work with the craft supplies I already have to keep from spending too much. Thank God I only work three days a week and only live three miles from work so that doesn't take much gas at all. The gas prices are ruining a lot of lives right now I'm sure.
