Christmas Is Almost Here

Just a little Ziggy humor I found while surfing the web tonight.

Well I've been really busy lately trying to finish making all of my xmas gifts. The past two weeks have been knit, knit, knit. I'm almost finished though. I've got about half a scarf to make and then I'm done. I just hope I can finish it before christmas day.

Screamer Radio

Screamer Radio..... Hey guy's and girl's. Do you know that in this day and age it is almost totally makes no sense to listen to commercial FM radio. It is an old medium that leaves little choice of music and is saturated with ad after ad after ad. For a few years now there has been a wonderful ad-free alternative, streaming internet radio and you can find hundreds of commercial free stations all over the internet.

I want to tell you about this cool little program I found tonight. It's called Screamer Radio. You can listen to, and record mp3 files of your favorite music from your favorite streaming internet radio station, and the program is very simple to use.

Get the program and check out some of the stations in the presets list and if you don't find your style of music then go to shoutcast.com to find radio streams that you like.

I hope you have a cd or dvd burner because when you get this program your gonna need it to burn all that music you record to make space on your computer *smile*

How hard can it be to find instructions on how to do the two color brioche stitch?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I have been searching google for the past half hour tonight looking for instructions on how to do a two tone brioche stitch. I need to learn this stitch for a scarf I want to make.

Does anyone out there know how to do this stitch that can email me with the instructions or maybe know where an online tutorial is?

I thought you could find anything on google... grrrrr!!! *rolls eyes* @ google!

My New Old Jeep

Here is my new ride. It's not brand new but it's better than nothing. It is a 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4X4, made in the same year that I graduated from high school. I got it yesterday and it runs great... except right now it's not running anywhere because I ran the battery down last night... ooops!!! That's just my luck though lol. I should get it jump started this evening as soon as my brother or my dad can stop by with the jumper cables. I am buying it from my mom and at first I didn't think I was going to like it too well but after driving it for awhile I think it's the most fun vehicle I've ever had. It's got a tented sun roof which is something I've never had in a car before so that's really cool, and it's got an automatic transmission which is awesome for me because I can't drive a manual shift worth a damn. The paint is faded as you can tell but who cares. After being without a car for over four months now I am soooo happy to get this. Oh and it's got leather seats.

I have finished knitting one of my christmas gifts. It is a long brown fun fur scarf I made for my sister-n-law. This is not a great photo but you get the idea of what it looks like. I am now working on a camouflage skull caps that I am making for my brothers and my dad and then I have one more scarf to finish for my mom and that should take care of christmas this year.
